A partir de su valor art\u00edstico e hist\u00f3rico, las obras creadas entre 1928 y 1936 hacen del museo el recinto cultural m\u00e1s importante.<\/em>
\n<\/p>\n

El Palacio de Bellas Artes<\/strong> es c\u00e9lebre por albergar en su interior algunas de las m\u00e1s representativas obras del muralismo mexicano. Aristas como Diego Rivera<\/strong>, Jos\u00e9 Clemente Orozco<\/strong> y David Alfaro Siqueiros<\/strong> son algunos de los muralistas que han trascendido a lo largo de la historia por representar hechos hist\u00f3ricos a trav\u00e9s del arte pict\u00f3rico.<\/p>\n

A partir de su valor art\u00edstico, las obras creadas entre 1928 y 1963 hacen del Museo el recinto cultural m\u00e1s importante del pa\u00eds del que se conmemora su 85 aniversario<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Durante el r\u00e9gimen posrevolucionario, se busc\u00f3 que el arte muralista se incluyera en el Palacio de Bellas Artes<\/strong>, por tanto, Diego Rivera<\/strong> y Jos\u00e9 Clemente Orozco<\/strong> fueron los primeros artistas en recibir la invitaci\u00f3n para pintar los murales del museo. Ambos trabajaron de manera simult\u00e1nea y sus obras realizadas en los muros oriente y poniente del tercer piso del inmueble fueron solicitadas para la inauguraci\u00f3n de este recinto cultural.<\/p>\n

Posteriormente se incorpor\u00f3 el trabajo de David Alfaro Siqueiros<\/strong>, quien represent\u00f3 la ca\u00edda de Tenochtitl\u00e1n, a las v\u00edctimas del fascismo y el surgimiento de un nuevo r\u00e9gimen.<\/p>\n

La obra de estos tres artistas conforma la primera etapa en el arte mural\u00edstico del Palacio de Bellas Artes<\/strong>, con obras emblem\u00e1ticas de la Escuela Mexicana de Pintura<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

El pintor Diego Rivera retrat\u00f3 en El hombre controlador del universo (1934)<\/strong>, una de las cr\u00edticas m\u00e1s pol\u00e9micas al sistema capitalista. A trav\u00e9s de im\u00e1genes como la huelga socialista y la lucha de clases, Rivera represent\u00f3 la divisi\u00f3n de sistemas y posturas sociopol\u00edticas. El mural contiene tambi\u00e9n los retratos de Trotsky, Marx y Engels, entre otros l\u00edderes sociales.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Cabe se\u00f1alar que Rivera hab\u00eda comenzado un esbozo previo de este mural en 1933, mismo que albergar\u00eda el Centro Rockefeller<\/strong> de Nueva York. Sin embargo, fue censurado y destruido puesto que incluy\u00f3 la imagen del l\u00edder comunista Vladimir Lenin<\/strong> y una estrella roja con la hoz y el martillo.<\/p>\n

De Rivera, se exhibe tambi\u00e9n Revoluci\u00f3n Rusa o Tercera Internacional (1933)<\/strong> y Carnaval de la vida Mexicana (1936).<\/strong> El primero hace referencia a la Revoluci\u00f3n Bolchevique de 1917<\/strong>, y en el segundo se alude con la s\u00e1tira caracter\u00edstica del autor, temas pol\u00edticos e hist\u00f3ricos de la \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Jos\u00e9 Clemente Orozco<\/strong> realiz\u00f3 Katharsis (1934-1935)<\/strong>, mural que confronta al espectador con una imagen de la destrucci\u00f3n mec\u00e1nica y la decadencia moral. Este mural fue ejecutado a solicitud de Antonio Castro Leal, director del Departamento de Bellas Artes<\/strong> de la Secretar\u00eda de Educaci\u00f3n P\u00fablica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

David Alfaro Siqueiros<\/strong> pint\u00f3 en 1944 la obra titulada Nueva Democracia<\/strong>. Se trat\u00f3 de tres paneles que representan la evoluci\u00f3n del sistema pol\u00edtico hacia el fascismo.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, en 1951 realiz\u00f3 un d\u00edptico dedicado a Cuauht\u00e9moc:\u00a0Tormento de Cuauht\u00e9moc<\/strong>\u00a0y\u00a0Apoteosis de Cuauht\u00e9moc<\/strong>, en los que resalta la lucha de los pueblos d\u00e9biles en busca de independencia. Ambos integran una narraci\u00f3n sobre la conquista de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
