Es necesario recordar que desde 2016 el corporativo dio a conocer su intenci\u00f3n de incursionar en esta \u00e1rea de las comunicaciones y el transporte privado.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dos fueron los referentes de la cumbre: la presentaci\u00f3n del veh\u00edculo eVTOL y la exposici\u00f3n de los seis posibles modelos de estaciones para este servicio de taxi a\u00e9reo. Adem\u00e1s, ejecutivos, acad\u00e9micos y autoridades abordaron temas sobre regulaciones, infraestructura, participaci\u00f3n, estrategias y visiones para poner en marcha el programa uberAIR.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">La nave, cuyo dise\u00f1o implementa la tecnolog\u00eda de despegue y aterrizaje vertical (VTOL, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), no es definitiva. Sin embargo, socios de Uber como <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bellflight.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Bell Helicopter<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipistrel.si\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Pipistrel<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/embraer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Embraer<\/strong><\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mckinsey.com\/business-functions\/mckinsey-design\/our-insights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>McKinsey Design<\/strong><\/a> avanzar\u00e1n en busca de nuevas mejoras en este \u2018drone gigante\u2019, del cual a\u00fan no se especifica la capacidad de pasajeros.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">La compa\u00f1\u00eda proyect\u00f3 iniciar un periodo de pruebas del programa uberAIR en 2020, para comenzar las operaciones formales en 2023. La innovaci\u00f3n consiste en facilitar a los usuarios la contrataci\u00f3n de un taxi a\u00e9reo, para lo cual se planea instalar estaciones \u2013llamadas \u2018skyports\u2019- en lugares concurridos, como estadios y centros de espect\u00e1culos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">John Badalamenti, jefe de Dise\u00f1o de Programas Avanzados y de Aviaci\u00f3n de Uber, expres\u00f3 que est\u00e1n \u201centusiasmados por colaborar con firmas l\u00edderes para imaginar c\u00f3mo funcionar\u00eda f\u00edsicamente Skyports a escala y c\u00f3mo podemos dise\u00f1ar espacios que sean silenciosos, respetuosos del medio ambiente y que creen espacios naturales de actividad para el transporte del futuro\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Seis despachos presentaron sus propuestas para dise\u00f1ar y construir los \u2018skyports\u2019 de uberAIR. Las firmas estadounidenses <a href=\"http:\/\/gannettfleming.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Gannett Fleming<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pickardchilton.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Pickard Chilton<\/strong><\/a> \u2013en asociaci\u00f3n con la empresa brit\u00e1nica de ingenier\u00eda <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Arup<\/strong><\/a>-, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.corgan.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Corgan<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bokapowell.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>BOKA Powell<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/humphreys.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Humphreys &amp; Partners<\/strong><\/a> y <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beckgroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>The Beck Group<\/strong><\/a> fueron las encargadas de generar ideas y soluciones a los retos planteados por la compa\u00f1\u00eda de transporte.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A las firmas de arquitectura se les solicit\u00f3 que sus proyectos cumplieran con las siguientes caracter\u00edsticas m\u00ednimas: capacidad para transportar a 4,000 pasajeros por hora, ocupar menos de tres hect\u00e1reas y observar la normatividad en materia de medio ambiente y contaminaci\u00f3n ac\u00fastica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">BOKA Powell present\u00f3 una propuesta que permite los 2,000 despegues por hora. Humphreys &amp; Partners dise\u00f1\u00f3 un inmueble que incluye un estacionamiento para los autom\u00f3viles de los usuarios, y al igual que The Beck Group, se inspiraron en las colmenas de abejas para darle forma al \u2018skyport\u2019. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Gannett Fleming y Corgan mostraron adaptaci\u00f3n con los transportes terrestres habituales, adem\u00e1s de emplear un sistema modular de construcci\u00f3n.
