Casos como el de Estados Unidos o Alemania, son el ejemplo de la penetraci\u00f3n del modelo de vivienda de alquiler en las sociedades, donde existen esquemas de renta maduros. <\/p>\n<p>En Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe, de acuerdo con datos del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) presentados en 2014, uno de cada cinco hogares alquila su vivienda; adem\u00e1s que por lo menos desde 2005, el n\u00famero de familias que rentan su hogar ha mantenido una tendencia al alza.
