{"id":25619,"date":"2015-11-17T10:33:10","date_gmt":"2015-11-17T16:33:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/centrourbano.com\/?p=25619"},"modified":"2015-11-17T10:33:10","modified_gmt":"2015-11-17T16:33:10","slug":"adquirira-marriott-a-starwood-hotels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/revista\/inmobiliario\/adquirira-marriott-a-starwood-hotels\/","title":{"rendered":"Adquirir\u00e1 Marriott a Starwood Hotels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>La nueva firma ser\u00e1 propietaria de m\u00e1s de 5,500 hoteles y se convertir\u00e1 en la mayor hotelera del mundo<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La cadena de hoteles con presencia mundial, Marriott adquiri\u00f3 la firma Starwood Hotels Resorts Worldwide en un acuerdo en efectivo y acciones de aproximadamente 12 mil 200 millones de d\u00f3lares, con lo que se crear\u00e1 la mayor cadena hotelera del mundo, al ser due\u00f1a de m\u00e1s de 5 mil 500 hoteles alrededor del mundo, con un total de 1.1 millones de habitaciones, superando a Hilton Worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el acuerdo firmado entre ambas compa\u00f1\u00eda, los accionistas de Starwood recibir\u00e1n 0.92 acciones comunes Clase A de Marriot y dos d\u00f3lares en efectivo por cada acci\u00f3n de Starwood, con lo que cada acci\u00f3n de la propietaria de las marcas St. Regis, W y Westin, se concreta en 72.08 d\u00f3lares, lo que supone un descuento de 4% respecto al precio con el que cerrados sus acciones el viernes 13 de noviembre.<\/p>\n<p>En total, el pago ser\u00e1 de 11.900 millones de d\u00f3lares en acciones y otros 340 millones de d\u00f3lares en met\u00e1lico y tras la fusi\u00f3n, los accionistas de Marriott se quedar\u00e1n con el 63% de la nueva compa\u00f1\u00eda mientras que los accionistas de Starwood tendr\u00e1n en sus manos el 37% restante.<\/p>\n<p>Marriott adquiri\u00f3 la empresa por sobre la cadena Hyatt, que ya se encontraba en negociaciones, y a la china HNA, conglomerado propietario de un 29.5% del capital de la espa\u00f1ola NH Hotel Group.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
