En un contexto global marcado por la fragmentaci\u00f3n geopol\u00edtica, disrupciones energ\u00e9ticas y una competencia m\u00e1s intensa por atraer capital productivo, el pa\u00eds mantiene una posici\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica como socio comercial de Estados Unidos y como plataforma de integraci\u00f3n manufacturera en Norteam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.finsa.net\/experience\/insights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00cdndice de Desarrollo Industrial <\/a>(IDI) 2025 de Finsa, <strong>los retos y oportunidades para la industria nacional no s\u00f3lo persisten, sino que se han intensificado<\/strong>. La tendencia al nearshoring evolucion\u00f3 hacia una fase de inversiones concretas, ampliaciones industriales y relocalizaciones efectivas de capacidad productiva, lo que elev\u00f3 la competencia entre estados.<\/p>\n<p>En este escenario, iniciativas federales como el Plan M\u00e9xico colocan el foco en la capacidad real de las entidades para absorber inversi\u00f3n, generar empleo formal y fortalecer encadenamientos de mayor valor agregado. Sin embargo, capitalizar esta ventana de oportunidad exige <strong>resolver desaf\u00edos estructurales<\/strong>, particularmente en <strong>energ\u00eda e infraestructura log\u00edstica.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Liderazgo industrial y concentraci\u00f3n regional<\/h2>\n<p>El IDI 2025 confirma una configuraci\u00f3n industrial cada vez m\u00e1s concentrada. <strong>Nuevo Le\u00f3n, Chihuahua y Coahuila repiten como los tres primeros lugares<\/strong> del \u00edndice, mientras Baja California ocupa la cuarta posici\u00f3n y el Estado de M\u00e9xico mantiene el quinto sitio. El orden refleja una estructura industrial madura y ventajas acumuladas en manufactura y exportaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En infraestructura, <strong>Nuevo Le\u00f3n ampl\u00eda su liderazgo al alcanzar 17.9 millones de metros cuadrados de espacio industrial<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s, registra un ritmo promedio de construcci\u00f3n de 1.3 millones de metros cuadrados anuales durante los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os. Chihuahua y Baja California mantienen alta capacidad instalada y crecimiento sostenido, mientras Quer\u00e9taro, Jalisco y Guanajuato muestran avances relevantes.<\/p>\n<p>En conectividad, el Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe \u00c1ngeles (AIFA) fortalece la posici\u00f3n log\u00edstica del Estado de M\u00e9xico en carga a\u00e9rea, aunque la revocaci\u00f3n de rutas por parte del gobierno de Estados Unidos podr\u00eda incidir en el desempe\u00f1o de este a\u00f1o. A su vez, el dinamismo en los puertos de L\u00e1zaro C\u00e1rdenas y Veracruz mejora la competitividad log\u00edstica de Michoac\u00e1n y Veracruz.<\/p>\n<h2>Peso manufacturero e inversi\u00f3n extranjera<\/h2>\n<p>Seis entidades concentran el mayor porcentaje del PIB manufacturero nacional: Nuevo Le\u00f3n con 12.6%, Estado de M\u00e9xico 9.3%, Coahuila 8.2%, Jalisco 7.9%, Guanajuato 6.9% y Baja California con 6.6%. Estas entidades conforman el <strong>n\u00facleo industrial del pa\u00eds y sostienen la mayor parte de la producci\u00f3n manufacturera.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En inversi\u00f3n extranjera directa del sector secundario, la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico encabeza por primera vez el promedio anual con 16,700 millones de d\u00f3lares, seguida por Nuevo Le\u00f3n con 11.7 mil millones. Adem\u00e1s, los cinco estados fronterizos, <strong>Chihuahua, Coahuila, Baja California, Nuevo Le\u00f3n y Tamaulipas concentran m\u00e1s del 53% de las exportaciones manufactureras.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Este desempe\u00f1o consolida la integraci\u00f3n productiva con Estados Unidos; no obstante, tambi\u00e9n evidencia brechas regionales en competitividad.<\/p>\n<h2>Medio ambiente y sostenibilidad industrial<\/h2>\n<p>En materia ambiental, <a href=\"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/revista\/inmobiliario\/mexico-cadenas-de-suministro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Finsa<\/a> se\u00f1al\u00f3 que <strong>Durango mantiene el liderazgo en tratamiento de aguas con niveles cercanos al 100 por ciento<\/strong>. Jalisco, Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, Aguascalientes y Baja California registran avances s\u00f3lidos, mientras que Campeche y Yucat\u00e1n presentan rezagos importantes.<\/p>\n<p>En construcci\u00f3n sostenible, Chihuahua, Baja California, Nuevo Le\u00f3n, Ciudad de M\u00e9xico y Tamaulipas impulsan el <strong>mayor n\u00famero de edificios con certificaci\u00f3n LEED<\/strong>. Sin embargo, 17 entidades no reportaron actividad en este rubro durante el periodo evaluado.<\/p>\n<p>El consumo de gasolina por habitante contin\u00faa como un reto ambiental en estados del norte, mientras Chiapas, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Ciudad de M\u00e9xico y Estado de M\u00e9xico registran los niveles m\u00e1s bajos. Adem\u00e1s, la falta de informaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica impidi\u00f3 actualizar indicadores de energ\u00eda limpia e intensidad energ\u00e9tica, lo que limita la comparaci\u00f3n interanual.<\/p>\n<h2>Talento, innovaci\u00f3n y desaf\u00edos estructurales<\/h2>\n<p>En talento e innovaci\u00f3n, la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico lidera en investigadores vinculados a la industria, solicitudes de invenciones y egresados en \u00e1reas STEM. Morelos, Quer\u00e9taro y Baja California destacan en investigadores por habitante, mientras Jalisco, Nuevo Le\u00f3n, Guanajuato y Quer\u00e9taro sobresalen en actividad inventiva. En formaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica media superior, Sonora y Quintana Roo muestran crecimiento sostenido.<\/p>\n<p>Pese al dinamismo industrial, el IDI 2025 advierte que <strong>M\u00e9xico debe atender con mayor urgencia la disponibilidad de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica suficiente y estable<\/strong>, as\u00ed como la modernizaci\u00f3n de infraestructura log\u00edstica y de transporte. La creciente demanda industrial presiona redes el\u00e9ctricas y corredores estrat\u00e9gicos.<\/p>\n<p>De esta manera, el panorama industrial del <strong>pa\u00eds combina liderazgo regional, integraci\u00f3n manufacturera y concentraci\u00f3n productiva<\/strong> con retos estructurales que requieren atenci\u00f3n coordinada. Los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os resultar\u00e1n determinantes para que m\u00e1s entidades capitalicen el nearshoring y para que M\u00e9xico consolide una estrategia industrial de largo plazo, con
