{"id":160083,"date":"2026-02-06T09:00:06","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T15:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/revista\/?p=160083"},"modified":"2026-02-06T00:54:00","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T06:54:00","slug":"presa-leon-premio-innovacion-hidrica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/revista\/construccion\/presa-leon-premio-innovacion-hidrica\/","title":{"rendered":"Presa Le\u00f3n recibe premio internacional por innovaci\u00f3n h\u00eddrica"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>La Presa recibi\u00f3 el premio internacional por su dise\u00f1o y aportaci\u00f3n a la seguridad h\u00eddrica regional, en un contexto de crecientes retos urbanos y clim\u00e1ticos<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La <strong>Presa Le\u00f3n<\/strong>, una de las obras hidr\u00e1ulicas m\u00e1s ambiciosas del norte de M\u00e9xico, recibi\u00f3 el <strong>ACI Members\u2019 Choice Award 2025<\/strong>, un reconocimiento otorgado por el American Concrete Institute (ACI) que destaca a las obras m\u00e1s relevantes de la industria del concreto a nivel mundial, por su innovaci\u00f3n, calidad t\u00e9cnica y enfoque sustentable.<\/p>\n<p>Ubicada entre los municipios de <strong>Linares<\/strong> y <strong>Montemorelos<\/strong>, en el estado de Nuevo Le\u00f3n, esta presa destaca por tener una cortina de 1,950 metros de longitud y 45 metros de altura, lo que la convierte en una de las m\u00e1s extensas del continente construidas con concreto compactado con rodillo, una t\u00e9cnica que permite mayor eficiencia y resistencia estructural.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Innovaci\u00f3n y sostenibilidad<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El <strong>ACI<\/strong> reconoci\u00f3 la obra no solo por su <strong>dimensi\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica<\/strong>, sino tambi\u00e9n por su <strong>enfoque en la sostenibilidad<\/strong>, pues durante su construcci\u00f3n se utilizaron concretos de bajas emisiones de di\u00f3xido de carbono. De esta manera, se contribuy\u00f3 a reducir la huella ambiental del proyecto, aline\u00e1ndose con las mejores pr\u00e1cticas globales en infraestructura sustentable.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de su aporte t\u00e9cnico, la <strong>Presa Le\u00f3n<\/strong> jugar\u00e1 un papel estrat\u00e9gico en la <strong>seguridad h\u00eddrica<\/strong> de la regi\u00f3n. Se espera que la obra beneficie de manera directa a m\u00e1s de 5.5 millones de habitantes en la zona metropolitana de Monterrey y sus alrededores, al incrementar la capacidad de suministro de agua potable hasta 1,600 litros por segundo en condiciones normales, con posibilidad de alcanzar hasta 4,000 litros por segundo en escenarios cr\u00edticos.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, la infraestructura se integra al sistema h\u00eddrico regional mediante el <strong>Acueducto Linares\u2013Monterrey<\/strong> y la <strong>Planta Potabilizadora San Roque<\/strong>, desde donde el agua captada ser\u00e1 tratada y distribuida para consumo humano.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Nuevo Le\u00f3n, en el mapa de la ingenier\u00eda<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Con este reconocimiento, <strong>Nuevo Le\u00f3n<\/strong> se coloca en el centro de la discusi\u00f3n internacional sobre <strong>innovaci\u00f3n constructiva<\/strong> y <strong>gesti\u00f3n del agua<\/strong>, dos temas cr\u00edticos ante los desaf\u00edos que afronta M\u00e9xico en materia de recursos h\u00eddricos y resiliencia urbana.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa distinci\u00f3n de <strong>ACI<\/strong> refleja la excelencia t\u00e9cnica y visi\u00f3n de largo plazo con la que se abord\u00f3 este proyecto estrat\u00e9gico para la entidad y la regi\u00f3n\u201d, coment\u00f3 personal de <strong>Servicios de Agua y Drenaje <\/strong>del estado, subrayando que este tipo de
