{"id":159202,"date":"2025-12-11T17:58:50","date_gmt":"2025-12-11T23:58:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/revista\/?p=159202"},"modified":"2025-12-11T17:58:50","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T23:58:50","slug":"torre-bbva-10-year-award-excellence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/revista\/arquitectura-2\/torre-bbva-10-year-award-excellence\/","title":{"rendered":"Torre BBVA recibe el 10 Year Award of Excellence del CTBUH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>La Torre BBVA, obra de LEGORRETA y RSHP \u00a0fue reconocida por el CTBUH por su desempe\u00f1o sostenible, dise\u00f1o y resiliencia urbana<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La <strong>Torre BBVA M\u00e9xico<\/strong>, dise\u00f1ada por <strong>LEGORRETA<\/strong> y <strong>RSHP<\/strong>, recibi\u00f3 el \u2018<strong>10 Year Award of Excellence<\/strong>\u2019 que otorga el Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), durante la Conferencia Internacional CTBUH 2025 celebrada en Toronto, Canad\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>El premio reconoce a los edificios que, una d\u00e9cada despu\u00e9s de su inauguraci\u00f3n, contin\u00faan demostrando un desempe\u00f1o sobresaliente en <strong>dise\u00f1o<\/strong>, <strong>funcionalidad<\/strong>, <strong>sostenibilidad<\/strong> y <strong>aportes al entorno urbano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>De esta manera, el rascacielos se posiciona como un referente global de sostenibilidad, dise\u00f1o y desempe\u00f1o a largo plazo.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Un \u00edcono que mantiene su excelencia con el paso del tiempo<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>De acuerdo con el comunicado oficial, la <strong>Torre BBVA M\u00e9xico<\/strong> destaca por su \u201carquitectura vanguardista, eficiencia energ\u00e9tica, bienestar de los ocupantes y su integraci\u00f3n arm\u00f3nica con el Paseo de la Reforma\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, el <strong>CTBUH<\/strong> subray\u00f3 que el edificio ha mantenido su certificaci\u00f3n LEED Platinum, ha reducido su huella de carbono mediante jardines elevados y sistemas de captaci\u00f3n de agua, y ha demostrado resiliencia estructural frente a sismos reales gracias a su ingenier\u00eda antis\u00edsmica avanzada.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, la torre no solo se distingue por su <strong>desempe\u00f1o t\u00e9cnico<\/strong>, sino por su <strong>impacto social<\/strong>. \u201cLa iluminaci\u00f3n natural, la ventilaci\u00f3n eficiente y la conexi\u00f3n visual con el entorno natural elevan la calidad de vida laboral\u201d, indica el documento.<\/p>\n<p>Y tambi\u00e9n subraya la <strong>flexibilidad de sus espacios<\/strong>, que fomentan \u201cla colaboraci\u00f3n espont\u00e1nea y la creatividad, reforzando un sentido de pertenencia y comunidad entre sus ocupantes\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Un referente global junto a los grandes<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La <strong>Torre BBVA<\/strong> recibi\u00f3 el galard\u00f3n en la misma categor\u00eda que proyectos internacionales como la <strong>Shanghai Tower<\/strong> (China), <strong>Sky Habitat<\/strong> (Singapur) y el <strong>Grogan | Dove Federal Office Building<\/strong> (Estados Unidos).<\/p>\n<p>El <strong>CTBUH<\/strong> record\u00f3 que edificaciones emblem\u00e1ticas como el <strong>One World Trade Center<\/strong>, el <strong>Burj Khalifa<\/strong> y <strong>The Gherkin<\/strong> tambi\u00e9n han recibido este reconocimiento en a\u00f1os anteriores.<\/p>\n<p>Al respecto, el <strong>arquitecto V\u00edctor Legorreta<\/strong> se\u00f1al\u00f3 que \u201cdiez a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de su inauguraci\u00f3n, es a\u00fan m\u00e1s gratificante ver c\u00f3mo los habitantes de esta ciudad han hecho suya la Torre\u201d, y destac\u00f3 que el edificio se ha convertido en \u201cun gran ejemplo de c\u00f3mo la cultura arquitect\u00f3nica mexicana actual puede ofrecer soluciones de talla internacional y, al mismo tiempo, mantener una fuerte identidad mexicana\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Desde <strong>RSHP<\/strong>, <strong>Georgina Robledo<\/strong> expres\u00f3 que el reconocimiento \u201ctiene una resonancia muy personal\u201d y enfatiz\u00f3 que \u201cquer\u00edamos que la Torre se sintiera verdaderamente arraigada en el lugar \u2014para honrar el patrimonio arquitect\u00f3nico de la ciudad mientras miraba con confianza hacia el futuro\u201d. Tambi\u00e9n subray\u00f3 el orgullo que representa ver c\u00f3mo el edificio \u201cse ha convertido en parte de la vida cotidiana en el Paseo de la Reforma\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, <strong>Andrew Tyley, director de RSHP<\/strong>, afirm\u00f3 que el premio es una afirmaci\u00f3n de la visi\u00f3n original: \u201cun edificio que no solo servir\u00eda a su prop\u00f3sito inmediato, sino que continuar\u00eda entregando valor social, ambiental y arquitect\u00f3nico a largo plazo\u201d. Agreg\u00f3 que la Torre ha demostrado \u201csu resiliencia y adaptabilidad durante una d\u00e9cada de uso real\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, <strong>Douglas Paul<\/strong> destac\u00f3 que la obra refleja el potencial del dise\u00f1o colaborativo: \u201cDiez a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, la Torre demuestra que la claridad conceptual, tanto en la arquitectura como en la ingenier\u00eda, puede crear un edificio que envejece con elegancia mientras cumple rigurosos est\u00e1ndares t\u00e9cnicos y ambientales\u201d.<\/p>\n<a
