Bajo la direcci\u00f3n de Thomas Heatherwick, la Bienal de Se\u00fal 2025 re\u00fane proyectos que buscan humanizar la arquitectura y repensar la vida urbana<\/em><\/p>\n

Con la mirada puesta en ciudades m\u00e1s humanas y participativas, se inaugur\u00f3 oficialmente la 5\u00aa Bienal de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de Se\u00fal<\/strong>, Corea del Sur, con Thomas Heatherwick<\/strong> como director general.<\/p>\n

Un festival urbano con prop\u00f3sito<\/strong><\/h2>\n

La Bienal<\/strong> arranc\u00f3 el 26 de septiembre en el Songhyeon Green Plaza<\/strong>, en el centro de Se\u00fal, y permanecer\u00e1 abierta hasta el 18 de noviembre.<\/p>\n

Bajo el tema \u2018Ciudades radicalmente m\u00e1s humanas\u2019<\/strong>, el evento exhibe proyectos que exploran c\u00f3mo la arquitectura puede repensar el tejido urbano para hacerlo m\u00e1s inclusivo, din\u00e1mico y sensible a las personas.<\/p>\n

Muros p\u00fablicos con voz ciudadana<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Una de las piezas centrales de la Bienal es la instalaci\u00f3n \u2018Humanize Wall\u2019<\/strong>: una estructura de 90 metros de longitud y cuatro pisos de alto, compuesta por 1,428 losetas de acero que contienen textos e inscripciones generadas por ciudadanos, cient\u00edficos y dise\u00f1adores.<\/p>\n

Este muro funciona como portal y manifiesto: quienes lo recorren encuentran reflexiones sobre arquitectura, ciudad y convivencia.<\/p>\n

Adicionalmente, la Bienal presenta \u2018Walls of Public Life\u2019<\/strong>, 24 fragmentos arquitect\u00f3nicos de escala p\u00fablica dise\u00f1ados por equipos internacionales, con propuestas que reinterpretan las fachadas y la relaci\u00f3n entre espacio p\u00fablico y privado.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

<\/p>\n

Participaci\u00f3n, voces locales y debates<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Durante la inauguraci\u00f3n se realiz\u00f3 un foro de apertura llamado \u2018Emotional City\u2019<\/strong>, que reuni\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 400 activistas, acad\u00e9micos y arquitectos.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n fueron presentados tres estudios emergentes del movimiento \u2018Humanize Campaign\u2019<\/strong>, que analizan la relaci\u00f3n entre fachadas, salud p\u00fablica y bienestar social.<\/p>\n

Exposiciones paralelas como \u2018Emotionally Yours, Seoul\u2019<\/strong>, proyecto digital participativo, y \u2018The City\u2019s Face\u2019<\/strong>, con 25 obras de 21 ciudades enfocadas en el dise\u00f1o centrado en las personas, complementan la Bienal.<\/p>\n

Heatherwick y su visi\u00f3n arquitect\u00f3nica<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Como parte de sus labores en Se\u00fal, Heatherwick Studio<\/strong> fue elegido para proyectos clave, como el redise\u00f1o del Conjunto de Apartamentos Yeouido Daegyo, su primer proyecto residencial en Corea, y la transformaci\u00f3n del Centro de Convenciones Coex, un inmueble emblem\u00e1tico de la ciudad.<\/p>\n
