Architectures for a Planet in Transition<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La ciudad de <strong>Barcelona<\/strong>, Espa\u00f1a, ser\u00e1 la sede del <strong>Congreso Mundial de Arquitectos 2026<\/strong>, convocado por la <strong>Unio\u0301n Internacional de Arquitectos<\/strong> (<strong>UIA<\/strong>), que buscar\u00e1 convertirse en un laboratorio internacional que reunir\u00e1 a m\u00e1s de 10,000 arquitectas, arquitectos, acad\u00e9micos y estudiantes de todo el mundo.<\/p>\n<p>El Congreso se llevar\u00e1 a cabo del 28 de junio al 2 de julio de 2026 bajo el t\u00edtulo: <strong><em>Becoming. Architectures for a Planet in Transition<\/em><\/strong> (Convertirse, arquitecturas para un planeta en transici\u00f3n).<\/p>\n<p>En ese sentido, el evento propone pensar la <strong>arquitectura desde el tiempo<\/strong>, no como medida, sino como herramienta cr\u00edtica de dise\u00f1o, y, bajo diversos ejes tem\u00e1ticos (ecol\u00f3gicos, materiales, po\u00e9ticos, pol\u00edticos y circulares), se guiar\u00e1 una programaci\u00f3n que combina conferencias, debates y una exposici\u00f3n central.<\/p>\n<p>La <a href=\"https:\/\/uia2026bcn.org\/call-for-participants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>convocatoria<\/strong><\/a> para participar en dichas actividades est\u00e1 abierta desde el pasado 31 de marzo, y se dirige a profesionales del a\u0301mbito de la arquitectura, el urbanismo, el disen\u0303o, la investigacio\u0301n, la fotografi\u0301a, el cine, el arte u otra disciplina que pueda tener relevancia dentro del marco conceptual del evento.<\/p>\n<p>Se invita a presentar <strong>proyectos, ensayos y piezas multimedia<\/strong> que exploren de manera cri\u0301tica las diversas formas en que la arquitectura se conecta con las li\u0301neas de investigacio\u0301n del Congreso. La fecha l\u00edmite de postulaciones es el 23 de mayo de 2025 y se estructura en tres formatos de participacio\u0301n diferentes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Critical Design<\/strong>: dirigido a proyectos tanto construidos como no construidos;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Critical Paper<\/strong>: dirigido a ensayos, arti\u0301culos acade\u0301micos y trabajos de investigacio\u0301n;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Critical Image<\/strong>: dirigido a documentos fotogra\u0301ficos, multimedia y audiovisuales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Adema\u0301s, el encuentro abrira\u0301 nuevas oportunidades de participacio\u0301n en los pro\u0301ximos meses, mediante el <strong>Concurso Internacional de Estudiantes<\/strong> y el <strong>Workshop Internacional para Estudiantes<\/strong>, los cuales tendra\u0301n lugar en la semana previa al congreso.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>Becoming<\/strong> se refiere a un proceso de cambio, al \u2018devenir\u2019 que fomenta la apropiacio\u0301n y transformacio\u0301n de nuestros entornos habitados, tanto humanos como ma\u0301s que humanos, individuales y colectivos, investigando el potencial del tiempo como una herramienta de disen\u0303o.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLejos de la nocio\u0301n de tabula rasa, se fundamenta en la conciencia de los contextos fi\u0301sicos y culturales preexistentes, articulando transiciones a trave\u0301s de interrelaciones materiales, poli\u0301ticas, ecolo\u0301gicas y poe\u0301ticas\u201d, indic\u00f3 el equipo curatorial del Congreso, formado por <strong>Pau Bajet, Mariona Benedito, Maria Girame\u0301, Tomeu Ramis, Pau Sarquella y Carmen Torres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Congreso se llevar\u00e1 a cabo del 28 de junio al 2 de julio de 2026, bajo el tema Becoming.
