{"id":141272,"date":"2023-07-21T09:00:50","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T15:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/?p=141272"},"modified":"2023-07-21T00:03:13","modified_gmt":"2023-07-21T06:03:13","slug":"migrantes-irregulares-vivienda-unam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/revista\/vivienda\/migrantes-irregulares-vivienda-unam\/","title":{"rendered":"Migrantes irregulares en EU, sin acceso a la vivienda: UNAM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Para acceder a una vivienda en EU, los migrantes enfrentan dificultades como rentas excesivas y mayores intereses al solicitar un cr\u00e9dito hipotecario<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con la <strong>investigadora del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geografia.unam.mx\/geoigg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instituto de Geograf\u00eda<\/a> de la Universidad Nacional Aut\u00f3noma de M\u00e9xico<\/strong> (<strong>UNAM<\/strong>), <strong>Ana Pardo Monta\u00f1o<\/strong>, el acceso a la vivienda es casi imposible para los <a href=\"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/infonavit\/migrantes-en-estados-unidos-logran-pagar-480-mdp-en-creditos-infonavit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>migrantes irregulares<\/strong> en Estados Unidos<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Lo anterior debido a que enfrentan diversas <strong>problem\u00e1ticas<\/strong>, como dificultades para que alquilar, rentas excesivas y la imposibilidad de adquirir un cr\u00e9dito en los bancos por el alto riesgo de que sean deportados.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCasi siempre, cuando llegan al pa\u00eds de destino, se hospedan con alg\u00fan familiar o amigo de manera provisional. M\u00e1s adelante, cuando logran independizarse, intentan <strong>rentar<\/strong>, pero es complicado porque no tienen documentos y no cualquiera les quiere alquilar una vivienda\u201d, explic\u00f3 <strong>Pardo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La experta agreg\u00f3 que esta situaci\u00f3n genera que los migrantes opten por comprar una casa, pero las <strong>instituciones crediticias<\/strong> le cobran a la poblaci\u00f3n hispana mayores intereses cuando solicita un pr\u00e9stamo; adem\u00e1s de que, en la mayor\u00eda de los casos, rechazan las solicitudes por el riesgo de deportaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Y, cuando logran obtener un <strong>cr\u00e9dito<\/strong>, los costos iniciales son mucho m\u00e1s altos que para cualquier otro grupo poblacional en EU, pues tienen que pagar documentaci\u00f3n que no les solicitan a los dem\u00e1s y les cobran m\u00e1s intereses. De esta manera, los bancos recuperan su dinero en poco tiempo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo obstante, al realizar el tr\u00e1mite para adquirir vivienda, los <strong>migrantes irregulares<\/strong> pocas veces corren un riesgo real de deportaci\u00f3n. Es curioso, pero algunos hasta pagan impuestos. All\u00e1 se registran ante el equivalente a la Secretar\u00eda de Hacienda y Cr\u00e9dito P\u00fablico de M\u00e9xico, y con esos pagos est\u00e1n inscritos y el gobierno tiene informaci\u00f3n sobre ellos\u201d, agreg\u00f3 la investigadora.<\/p>\n<p>Pardo mencion\u00f3 que, para que el banco otorgue <strong>cr\u00e9ditos hipotecarios<\/strong>, los migrantes, y toda la poblaci\u00f3n estadounidense, deben tener <strong>historial crediticio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRevisan si pagan impuestos y si tienen acceso a cierto tipo de compras. Es una cuesti\u00f3n ambigua, porque cuando se trata de derechos, aunque seas irregular, est\u00e1s beneficiando econ\u00f3micamente al pa\u00eds de destino. Me parece que es uno de los temas m\u00e1s incongruentes de la migraci\u00f3n. Para que el migrante tenga acceso a salud y educaci\u00f3n es todo un problema, pero cuando se trata de pagar impuestos hay muchas formas en que pueden hacerlo\u201d,
