Y es que, el Gobierno de M\u00e9xico anunci\u00f3 la designaci\u00f3n de <strong>Javier May Rodr\u00edguez como nuevo <a href=\"http:\/\/fonatur.mx\">director General de Fondo<\/a><\/strong>, quien llega al relevo de <strong>Rogelio Jim\u00e9nez Pons<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con la informaci\u00f3n confirmada, <a href=\"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/centro-urbano-digital\/sustentabilidad-factor-relevante-en-proyectos-turisticos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Rogelio Jim\u00e9nez Pons<\/strong><\/a> sale del encargo que hab\u00eda desempe\u00f1ado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os para ocupar ahora la S<strong>ubsecretar\u00eda de Transportes de la Secretar\u00eda de Infraestructura, Comunicaciones y Transportes<\/strong> (SICT).<\/p>\n<p>Las autoridades se\u00f1alaron que con este cambio <strong>no se altera la coordinaci\u00f3n del Proyecto del Tren Maya. <\/strong>De esta forma, indicaron,\u00a0<strong>Fonatur seguir\u00e1 al frente de la obra<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Nuevo Director en Fonatur<\/h2>\n<p>Cabe recordar que <strong>Javier May Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> llega al nuevo encargo luego de ser <strong>titular de la Secretar\u00eda del Bienestar<\/strong> desde el pasado 2 de septiembre de 2020. Anteriormente fue <strong>subsecretario de Planeaci\u00f3n, Evaluaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo Regional<\/strong> en la misma dependencia, donde estuvo a cargo del programa <strong>Sembrando Vida<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>En la trayectoria de Javier May se destaca su paso en diversos puestos de elecci\u00f3n popular.\u00a0Por ejemplo, en septiembre de 2018, en la LXIV Legislatura, fue <strong>Senador de la Rep\u00fablica por Tabasco<\/strong>, cargo al que pidi\u00f3 licencia para incorporarse a la Secretar\u00eda de Bienestar. En 2001 fue elegido <strong>diputado a la LVII Legislatura del Congreso del Estado de Tabasco<\/strong>, donde presidi\u00f3 la Comisi\u00f3n de Asuntos Electorales. Asimismo, fue <strong>presidente municipal de Comalcalco, Tabasco<\/strong>, en dos ocasiones.<\/p>\n<p>Rogelio Jim\u00e9nez Pons llega a la SCIT luego de estar al frente de Fonatur desde el 1 de diciembre de 2019. El Arquitecto estuvo a cargo de la concepci\u00f3n y puesta en marcha del Tren Maya.<\/p>\n<p>Jim\u00e9nez Pons ha\u00a0laborado tanto para el <strong>sector p\u00fablico como privado<\/strong> en proyectos integrales de desarrollo, de arquitectura y construcci\u00f3n. Ha impartido conferencias en temas de turismo, sustentabilidad, planeaci\u00f3n urbana y reactivaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica en instituciones de educaci\u00f3n superior.<span
