{"id":117411,"date":"2021-05-25T09:00:05","date_gmt":"2021-05-25T14:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/?p=117411"},"modified":"2021-05-25T00:40:33","modified_gmt":"2021-05-25T05:40:33","slug":"vehiculos-circulen-30-ciudades","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/revista\/urbanismo\/vehiculos-circulen-30-ciudades\/","title":{"rendered":"Buscan que veh\u00edculos circulen a un m\u00e1ximo de 30 km\/h en ciudades"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Las evidencias obtenidas a nivel mundial demuestran que las ciudades con l\u00edmites de velocidad bajos reducen el riesgo de sufrir lesiones graves y salvan vidas<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>En el marco de la <strong>Sexta Semana Mundial de las Naciones Unidas para la Seguridad Vial<\/strong> se lanz\u00f3 la campa\u00f1a \u2018<strong>Calles para la vida<\/strong>\u2019. La cual busca lograr que el l\u00edmite de velocidad sea de <strong>30 kil\u00f3metros por hora <\/strong>en las ciudades del mundo; as\u00ed como generar apoyo a nivel local para construir ciudades seguras, saludables, verdes y habitables.<\/p>\n<p>De igual manera, la campa\u00f1a pretende generar v\u00ednculos entre ese l\u00edmite de velocidad y el cumplimiento de una serie de <strong>Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible<\/strong>; entre ellos los relacionados con la salud, la educaci\u00f3n, las infraestructuras, las ciudades sostenibles, la acci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica y las asociaciones.<\/p>\n<p>A trav\u00e9s de esta iniciativa, la <strong>ONU<\/strong> invita a las y los ciudadanos a firmar una <strong>carta abierta<\/strong> para exigir a los encargados de formular pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas que establezcan que el l\u00edmite de velocidad de 30 km\/h sea la norma en las calles de las ciudades y pueblos de todo el mundo.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 30 km\/h?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>De acuerdo con <a href=\"https:\/\/onuhabitat.org.mx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>ONU-Habitat<\/strong><\/a>, existen evidencias obtenidas a nivel mundial que demuestran que las calles con <strong>l\u00edmites de velocidad bajos<\/strong> reducen el riesgo de sufrir lesiones graves y salvan vidas.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, ensayos realizados en situaciones reales han demostrado que, en la mayor\u00eda de los desplazamientos habituales en ciudades, la diferencia de tiempo entre circular a una velocidad m\u00e1xima de <strong>30 km\/h<\/strong> o de <strong>50 km\/h<\/strong> es m\u00ednima.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, en las calles con l\u00edmites de velocidad bajos, los veh\u00edculos suelen desplazarse sin problemas, con <strong>menos aceleraciones y desaceleraciones<\/strong>; lo cual se traduce en una menor contaminaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, <strong>ONU-Habitat<\/strong> destac\u00f3 que las ciudades que cuentan con los l\u00edmites de velocidad m\u00e1s bajos animan a <strong>prescindir del veh\u00edculo<\/strong> y optar por caminar e ir en bicicleta. Y esto, a su vez, har\u00e1 que disminuya la contaminaci\u00f3n del aire y las emisiones de CO2; lo que supondr\u00e1 mayores <strong>beneficios para la salud<\/strong> de los ciudadanos.<\/p>\n<a
