Estamos haciendo un esfuerzo muy importante para poder conformar una nueva pol\u00edtica de vivienda que entienda que el derechohabiente, el trabajador, debe tener la libertad de seleccionar c\u00f3mo solucionar sus necesidades espec\u00edficas de vivienda\u201d, sostuvo Rom\u00e1n Meyer Falc\u00f3n, al participar como orador invitado en la entrega del Premio Hombres y Mujeres de la Casa 2020,<\/p>\n<p>El titular de la Sedatu sostuvo que si bien este momento de crisis sanitaria y econ\u00f3mica ha obligado a las y los mexicanos a estar f\u00edsicamente m\u00e1s apegados a la vivienda, tambi\u00e9n ha permito explorar y reinterpretar qu\u00e9 significa la vivienda como derecho humano y como lugar de conformaci\u00f3n de comunidades.<\/p>\n<p>Meyer Falc\u00f3n felicit\u00f3 a los ganadores del premio, incluido el director general del Instituto del Fondo Nacional de Vivienda para los Trabajadores (Infonavit), Carlos Mart\u00ednez Vel\u00e1zquez, por el esfuerzo que ha hecho y record\u00f3 que el Congreso de la Uni\u00f3n aprob\u00f3 reformas a la ley del instituto para facilitar que los derechohabientes puedan acceder a cr\u00e9dito para autoproducci\u00f3n de vivienda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl Infonavit va a poder colocar aproximadamente 150 mil nuevos cr\u00e9ditos al t\u00e9rmino de 2024 bajo esta nueva modalidad que puede otorgar m\u00e1s de 500 mil pesos para la autoproducci\u00f3n. Es importante que las instituciones tengan flexibilidad para atender a los trabajadores y agradezco esta oportunidad.
