en el marco del proyecto del Tren Maya<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rogelio Jim\u00e9nez Pons, director general del Fondo Nacional de Fomento al Turismo (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gob.mx\/fonatur\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fonatur<\/a>),<\/strong> sostuvo que el <strong>Tren Maya<\/strong> representa un <strong>nuevo paradigma en la construcci\u00f3n de proyectos de infraestructura<\/strong>; debido, en gran medida, \u201cal enfoque de derechos que tiene, desde su concepci\u00f3n misma como proyecto de desarrollo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>De esta manera, el <strong>Fonatur<\/strong>, en conjunto con la <strong>Oficina de Naciones Unidas de Servicios para Proyectos (UNOPS)<\/strong> realizaron el Primer Curso Introductorio sobre <strong>\u2018Infraestructura, G\u00e9nero y Derechos Humanos\u2019, <\/strong>es cual estuvo dirigido a los equipos territoriales de <strong>Fonatur Tren Maya.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cTenemos la firme convicci\u00f3n de hacer que nuestros equipos territoriales conciban su accionar diario con un <strong>enfoque a derechos. <\/strong>Ya que ellos son los principales interlocutores con los aliados m\u00e1s importantes para lograr la construcci\u00f3n de este proyecto y alcanzar sus objetivos; la gente, los habitantes de los cinco estados por los que pasa el tren\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Jim\u00e9nez.<\/p>\n<p>El curso tiene el prop\u00f3sito de brindar herramientas sobre la <strong>inclusi\u00f3n de la perspectiva de g\u00e9nero y derechos humanos en el desarrollo del Tren Maya<\/strong>; que incluye la capacitaci\u00f3n del personal y la generaci\u00f3n de capacidad, desarrollo de liderazgo y empoderamiento de mujeres ind\u00edgenas.<\/p>\n<p>A trav\u00e9s de esta estrategia del <strong>Fonatur<\/strong> y la <strong>UNOPS<\/strong>, se ha logrado el desarrollo de <strong>materiales espec\u00edficos para las mujeres<\/strong>, en el marco del proceso de consulta ind\u00edgena; la integraci\u00f3n de <strong>comisiones de verificaci\u00f3n y seguimiento <\/strong><strong>de acuerdos<\/strong> al proceso de consulta ind\u00edgena con un enfoque de igualdad y equidad; la incorporaci\u00f3n de <strong>cl\u00e1usulas<\/strong>, para asegurar el respeto a la <strong>igualdad de g\u00e9nero<\/strong> y los <strong>derechos humanos<\/strong> en el desarrollo del Tren Maya; as\u00ed como planes de <strong>Manejo Ambiental y Seguridad e Higiene<\/strong> consideran aspectos de equidad de g\u00e9nero y derechos humanos.<\/p>\n<p>Con el curso \u2018<strong>Infraestructura, G\u00e9nero y Derechos Humanos<\/strong>\u2019, el <strong>Fonatur<\/strong> inici\u00f3 una serie de talleres que abordar\u00e1n los derechos fundamentales y humanos que dan base a la vida en sociedad y en democracia;
