las inmediaciones del Corredor Interoce\u00e1nico<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>El director del <strong>Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico Nacional<\/strong> (IPN), Mario Alberto Rodr\u00edguez Casas, y el titular del proyecto del <strong>Corredor del Istmo de Tehuantepec<\/strong> (CIIT), Rafael Mar\u00edn Mollinedo, firmaron en un Convenio General de Colaboraci\u00f3n en el que el Instituto se compromete a sumar su potencial cient\u00edfico y tecnol\u00f3gico para la modernizaci\u00f3n del Corredor.<\/p>\n<p>La casa de estudios trabaja en dos frentes principales; el primero es la creaci\u00f3n de la <strong>Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria de Ingenier\u00eda Campus Palenque<\/strong> en la que se impartir\u00e1n las carreras de Ingenier\u00eda Ferroviaria, Ingenier\u00eda Civil, Ingenier\u00eda Biotecnol\u00f3gica y la Licenciatura en Turismo Sustentable.<\/p>\n<p>Rodr\u00edguez Casas subray\u00f3 que este Campus ser\u00e1 esencial para la formaci\u00f3n de <strong>capital humano<\/strong> que aporte a la construcci\u00f3n tanto del Corredor Transoce\u00e1nico como la del Tren Maya.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEsta unidad acad\u00e9mica, sin duda, ser\u00e1 semillero de profesionistas con perfiles alineados a las necesidades del proyecto del Tren Maya y del Programa de Desarrollo del Istmo de Tehuantepec.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>El director del IPN a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que buscan que el IPN tenga un <strong>Centro de Vinculaci\u00f3n y Apoyo Regional <\/strong>en las inmediaciones del Corredor, con el fin de mantener una cercan\u00eda a las necesidades requeridas para el desarrollo de esta zona.<\/p>\n<h3>Corredor Interoce\u00e1nico<\/h3>\n<p>Las obras que se contemplan para la modernizaci\u00f3n del Corredor Interoce\u00e1nico del Istmo de Tehuantepec, seg\u00fan el Plan Nacional de Desarrollo (PND), son las siguientes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modernizaci\u00f3n del Ferrocarril del Istmo de Tehuantepec y<\/li>\n<li>Modernizaci\u00f3n de los Puertos de Coatzacoalcos y Salina Cruz;<\/li>\n<li>Fortalecimiento de la infraestructura carretera y de caminos rurales,<\/li>\n<li>Construcci\u00f3n de un gaseoducto para abastecer a empresas y consumidores dom\u00e9sticos,<\/li>\n<li>Instalaci\u00f3n de una l\u00ednea de fibra \u00f3ptica para fortalecer la conectividad digital<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>En la presentaci\u00f3n del convenio de colaboraci\u00f3n, los funcionarios coincidieron en que\u00a0 la modernizaci\u00f3n y articulaci\u00f3n de un proyecto de esta envergadura puede traducirse en grandes beneficios para el crecimiento y desarrollo econ\u00f3mico del pa\u00eds, en especial de la regi\u00f3n sur, al conectar las costas del Pac\u00edfico con las del golfo y los potenciales cargamentos que de Asia lleguen con destino a la costa oriental de EEUU a trav\u00e9s de trasporte multimodal.<\/p>\n<p>En esa l\u00ednea, Mar\u00edn Mollinedo abund\u00f3: \u201cEste proyecto tiene como eje prioritario la modernizaci\u00f3n e infraestructura de transporte de mercanc\u00edas entre un oc\u00e9ano y el otro. \u201cEsto con el fin de que vengan los grandes barcos de Asia, los cuales tienen que llevar mercanc\u00edas a Estados Unidos, que es la zona m\u00e1s demandante y de mayor poder adquisitivo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s puntualiz\u00f3 que la zona del <strong>Corredor puede convertirse en una importante regi\u00f3n log\u00edstica-industrial<\/strong>, debido a las ventajas en materia de conectividad, que desarrollar\u00e1, una vez concluidas las obras de modernizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUna vez que establezcamos esta nueva ruta, que cruza por el Istmo de Tehuantepec, tambi\u00e9n va a ser atractivo para que vengan empresas a instalarse en el Corredor, porque van a tener la conectividad hacia
