{"id":102598,"date":"2020-02-13T09:15:34","date_gmt":"2020-02-13T15:15:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/?p=102598"},"modified":"2020-02-13T02:33:20","modified_gmt":"2020-02-13T08:33:20","slug":"guadalajara-toluca-y-merida-consideradas-ciudad-arbol-del-mundo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/revista\/urbanismo\/guadalajara-toluca-y-merida-consideradas-ciudad-arbol-del-mundo\/","title":{"rendered":"Guadalajara, Toluca y M\u00e9rida, consideradas \u201cCiudad \u00c1rbol del Mundo\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>El reconocimiento de Ciudad \u00c1rbol, otorgado por ONUAA y la Fundaci\u00f3n Arbor Day, destaca a ciudades que cuentan con acciones de cuidado forestal urbano<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Recientemente, el Programa de Ciudades \u00c1rbol del Mundo (Tree Cities of the World) reconoci\u00f3 a\u00a0 <strong>Guadalajara, M\u00e9rida y Toluca como \u201cCiudad \u00c1rbol del Mundo\u201d,\u00a0<\/strong>esto gracias a su labor en materia de conservaci\u00f3n, mantenimiento y reforestaci\u00f3n, que han llevado a cabo en aras de conservar y aumentar el patrimonio forestal con el que cuentan.<\/p>\n<p>Cabe destacar que este programa, auspiciado por la Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas para la Agricultura y la Alimentaci\u00f3n (ONUAA), as\u00ed como la Fundaci\u00f3n Arbor Day, ha reconocido a ciudades de la talla como Par\u00eds, Toronto y Nueva York.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abAplaudimos a todas las ciudades que han conseguido la designaci\u00f3n de Ciudad arbolada. <strong>Son l\u00edderes en lo que respecta a la planificaci\u00f3n y la gesti\u00f3n de sus bosques urbanos.<\/strong> Muchas de las ciudades que han sido reconocidas han ido m\u00e1s lejos utilizando los \u00e1rboles como parte de su infraestructura verde. <strong>Esta distinci\u00f3n es un homenaje<\/strong> a su creatividad y sostenibilidad <strong>a la hora de crear comunidades m\u00e1s saludables<\/strong>\u00ab, indic\u00f3 el presidente de Fundaci\u00f3n Arbor Day, Dan Lambe.<\/p>\n<p>En sus respectivos comunicados, las ciudades de M\u00e9rida y Toluca destacaron que el programa insignia con el que fueron galardonados es el de \u00abCruzada Forestal\u00bb y \u00abJuntos por una Capital Verde\u00bb, respectivamente.<\/p>\n<h3>Ciudades \u00c1rbol del Mundo<\/h3>\n<p>En el portal del Programa Ciudades \u00c1rbol del Mundo <a href=\"https:\/\/treecitiesoftheworld.org\/about.cfm\">https:\/\/treecitiesoftheworld.org\/about.cfm<\/a> indican que los 5 elementos esenciales para ser considerada y reconocida como una Ciudad \u00c1rbol son:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establecimiento de <strong>responsabilidades. <\/strong>Por escrito, el gobierno de la ciudad delega o asume la responsabilidad de cuidar el arbolado urbano.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Establecimiento de <strong>reglas. <\/strong>Leyes y pol\u00edticas oficiales sobre el cuidado y manejo de bosques y \u00e1rboles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Saber qu\u00e9 tiene. Se crea un <strong>inventario<\/strong> de activos de los recursos forestales locales con los que se cuenta en la ciudad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ubicaci\u00f3n de <strong>recursos. <\/strong>La ciudad tiene un presupuesto anual para la implementaci\u00f3n del plan de manejo de \u00e1rboles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Celebraci\u00f3n de <strong>logros. <\/strong>La ciudad establece una celebraci\u00f3n anual de los \u00e1rboles para crear conciencia en los residentes y reconocer el trabajo de quienes llevaron a cabo el programa de \u00e1rboles urbanos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tree Cities of the World es reconocido como un ente que articula y organiza esfuerzos en el mundo para priorizar el desarrollo urbano sustentable de la mano de recursos forestales diversos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl programa de Ciudades \u00c1rbol del Mundo es un esfuerzo internacional para reconocer ciudades y pueblos comprometidos a garantizar que sus bosques y \u00e1rboles urbanos se mantengan adecuadamente,
