{"id":100421,"date":"2019-12-17T08:08:53","date_gmt":"2019-12-17T14:08:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/?p=100421"},"modified":"2019-12-17T10:15:13","modified_gmt":"2019-12-17T16:15:13","slug":"ruth-rivera-marin-referente-de-la-arquitectura-mexicana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/revista\/arquitectura-2\/ruth-rivera-marin-referente-de-la-arquitectura-mexicana\/","title":{"rendered":"Ruth Rivera Mar\u00edn, referente de la arquitectura mexicana"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Responsable de la creaci\u00f3n de los cuadernos de\nArquitectura y Conservaci\u00f3n del Patrimonio Art\u00edstico del Instituto Nacional de\nBellas Artes y Literatura<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se conmemoran 50 a\u00f1os del deceso de la ingeniera arquitecta <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/centrourbano.com\/2019\/10\/29\/festividades-de-dia-de-muertos-llegan-al-museo-casa-estudio-diego-rivera-y-frida-kahlo\/\">Ruth Rivera Mar\u00edn<\/a> (M\u00e9xico, 1927-1969)<\/strong>; la primera mujer en ingresar a <strong>la Escuela Superior de Ingenier\u00eda y Arquitectura (ESIA)<\/strong> del <strong>Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico Nacional (IPN)<\/strong>; la primera en obtener su t\u00edtulo como ingeniera arquitecta en 1950.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En conmemoraci\u00f3n\nde su labor, el <strong>Instituto Nacional de\nBellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL)<\/strong>, a trav\u00e9s de un comunicado, comparti\u00f3 que\n<strong>Rivera Mar\u00edn<\/strong> realiz\u00f3 una destacada\nlabor durante la primera mitad del siglo XX en la arquitectura mexicana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los testimonios\nactuales y referentes esenciales para conocer el trabajo de la arquitecta es el\n<strong>Museo de Arte Moderno del INBAL<\/strong> y el\n<strong>Museo Anahuacalli<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;A partir de su pensamiento liberal y su\ninter\u00e9s por las artes, <strong>Ruth Rivera Mar\u00edn<\/strong>\nno s\u00f3lo destac\u00f3 por los proyectos que ayud\u00f3 a planificar, sino tambi\u00e9n por su\nprofundo compromiso por la defensa y protecci\u00f3n del <strong>patrimonio arquitect\u00f3nico<\/strong> y art\u00edstico de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Obra de Ruth Rivera<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Su mayor obra \u2013realizada\ncon <strong>Diego Rivera y Juan O\u2019Gorman<\/strong>\u2013\nfue el <strong>Museo Anahuacalli<\/strong> en <strong>Coyoac\u00e1n<\/strong>; tambi\u00e9n tuvo participaciones\nimportantes en la construcci\u00f3n del <strong>Centro\nM\u00e9dico Nacional<\/strong>, el <strong>Museo de Arte Moderno<\/strong>\ny, en colaboraci\u00f3n con <strong>Pedro Ram\u00edrez\nV\u00e1zquez<\/strong>, las obras de restauraci\u00f3n del <strong>Teatro\nde la Rep\u00fablica de Quer\u00e9taro en 1954<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fue miembro del <strong>Colegio de Arquitectos<\/strong>, de <strong>la Sociedad de Arquitectos Mexicanos<\/strong> y\nde la <strong>Asociaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Cr\u00edticos de\nArte<\/strong>; presidenta de la <strong>Uni\u00f3n\nInternacional de Mujeres Arquitectas <\/strong>y vicepresidenta de <strong>Arquitectas Mexicanas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n form\u00f3\nparte del <strong>Subcomit\u00e9 de Museos de la\nOrganizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas<\/strong> <strong>para\nla<\/strong> <strong>Educaci\u00f3n, la Ciencia y la\nCultura (UNESCO)<\/strong>. Ocup\u00f3 el cargo de Jefa del <strong>departamento de arquitectura del INBAL<\/strong> desde 1959, hasta el d\u00eda de\nsu muerte, a la edad de 42
